Your Blood is Gold
(Ode to the Sacred Female)
lyrics and music
by Bruce Anderson
2009

Magdalena in my mind blood is flowing in our time,
Isis unveiled turn the tide of history,
Sacred Goddess set me free prophets return on the sea,
Love descending from your universe to me,

La Sette joy of love for you recalls secrets we once knew,
Gnostic contenders for the truth to set us free,
God and Goddess of the blood blessing kingdom of the flood,
Restoring sacred female once lost here to me,

Refrain:

Hidden Goddess mystery of saints of old,
Set in stone her blood is gold,
Sacred female please forgive your truth was sold,
Return to me your blood is gold,
-

Hierosgamos sacred union of our love,
Sets my spirit on the ocean like a dove,
Sacred promise sacred union comes for two,
We will know the joys of love that we once knew

If you believe in love beyond this mundane world,
You'll find the secret in your soul is then unfurled,
Consort of the God and Goddess sets us free,
Forever joining love spread out upon the sea,

Refrain:
